About Rachel

Warm hearted, enthusiastic, exuberant and funny….. No-one does food demonstrations quite like Rachel; from small groups to crowds of several hundred at a food fair or country show, her sheer enjoyment of cooking shines through as she entertains onlookers with her skill and sense of humour. An experienced Chef, Rachel proves why you don’t have to be a Michelin-starred chef to produce amazing food for your family and friends.  Her no-nonsense approach to proper, honest British cooking is just what many people need, and she is always sourcing seasonal produce to create flavoursome food which speaks for itself.

Biography

Rachel has a broad portfolio of work, having undertaken many live cooking demonstrations and television appearances to cooking for the late Duchess of Devonshire, Lulu and the Queen.  An ambassador for British produce, Rachel is the development chef for numerous campaigns such as Yes Peas and Taste of Game and has also been involved with Taste of Scotland and the Sea fish Authority.

Rachel is a 14th generation farmer and brings her knowledge of growing and rearing food to every demonstration.  Her range of cookery styles is vast, from Italian to Thai, French, British, Moroccan, Indian and Spanish, but her passion for seasonal produce means that she often themes food demonstrations to the season.
