Oh I Say! Our ethos is to create a unique, value for money, trendy street food offering.
The brand has been created from the Oh I Say! an exclamation of an old British expression of surprise and delight which all our customers will receive.
Oh I Say! was also a favorite expression of the British tennis commentator Dan Maskell (1908-1992), who would utter it when witnessing something outstanding on the court. The same phrase will be used by our customers once they have tried our food.
The phrase “Oh I Say!” will create a talking point with our customers across all our media platforms impacting our awareness in the market. Our quality, style of food and consistency will be recognized by the clientele and media leading to favorable reviews. The best form of advertising we believe is word of mouth recommendations together with customers we have had from our previous events.
6) Main Text: The concept has been carefully developed by Scott Crawley and Benjamin Xavier who together have had more than 20 years in the hospitality industry. We both now felt that it was time to launch our street food brand and bring our experience to this growing market. Our main priority at all events will be the consistency of the food and the speedy, courteous customer service we will provide. If you dine with us at midday and then would like to indulge again later in the day, we will provide you with the exact same quality of food and service that you experienced earlier.
Our hip, friendly and attentive team will be focused on delivering an exceptional customer journey every time. All team members will have completed a basic food hygiene course and health and safety course. Each event will be managed by Scott & Ben and a team of 3x front of house (1x cashier / 2x food assistants).
The menu will comprise of locally sourced, quality ingredients that will be freshly prepared and cooked in our production kitchen before each event. Our meats are sourced and supplied by reputable farmers who in turn offer us a full supply chain history, breeding, slaughtering, and processing information.
We only use the best seasonal and sustainable British produce available in the market. Our bespoke breads will be sourced through award-winning bakers. All our sauces are homemade and will be bottled at a later stage for our guests to purchase and enjoy in the comfort of their own home.
Our sausages are hand made and supplied by the award-winning Franconian Sausage Company allowing us to supply a unique range of over 50 varieties of bespoke sausages which means we can feature at least three choices at any event.
Our menu will be adapted to each event demographics and location that we are catering and will appeal to residents, office workers, foodies and festival visitors alike so they will remain engaged with the concept as it matures, owing to our competitive price levels and the innovative new menu items. We will also offer our services for corporate events and weddings.
